The Retreat at Anna Maria Island Inn

The location of the property was ideal. The size of the pool was also perfect for our family. It was only 4ft at the deepest so not a concern with our 6 & 8 year olds.

There was no microwave and there were no real beach toys/balls to keep the kids busy while on the beach. You have to order those yourself to deliver which we didn’t know until we got there.

Where I stayed was an annex of the Inn across the street and not on the beach. It had a nice pool and seating for it. There were only I think six hotel rooms. Our room was big and roomy and stylish. The hotel and the office was down the street on the other side on the beach About a two minute walk.

I had to back out into the street to get on the road in front of the Inn
