Spacious great views and very clean would recommend

Everything was very clean and the location was perfect for a half way stop for us en route to the west coast of Scotland. This was our second stay at the cottage. Comfortable beds and bedding/towels provided. Friendly local pub a very short walk away.

There is no freezer or secure garden but this didn’t affect our stay. Plenty of places to take the dogs for a walk nearby. The upstairs bedrooms have quite steep stairs for children - again this did not impact our stay though as we shared the family room downstairs.

very clean, comfortable sofa, digital tv, decent kitchen for self catering, 3 bedrooms which we needed for the age our our children, good bedding and towels.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Comfortable stay. Little extras like a few teabags, sugar, coffee and shower gel, shampoo, soap were a nice touch.

Issues with incorrect information on Booking.com about the security deposit and concerns over passing on credit card details to an individual without the security of the booking site made key collection difficult for us and the owner. The king sized bedroom had a bit of an unpleasant smell. A freezer section in the fridge would have been handy for a longer stay. The owner could possibly provide some games, books for use.

Nice wee house in our ancestors village. Very well equipped and a bonus with other family members staying in the next door cottage.
