Comfortable bed and stunning location

Property was well equipped. Beds comfy. Near to good walking(although we only had one night). Quiet.

It was in a really beautiful location

The only thing I would say is that because the oil boiler was in the kitchen, you could smell the oil fumes

Lovely property. Spacious. 3 bedrooms. 1 double, 1 kingsize and 1 set of twin singles. Nice bathroom and shower. Quiet location if not a bit isolated but makes for a very peaceful sleep. Literally across the road from the pub. WiFi works fine.

Pub food was crap and very limited but beer was fine. Try googling a menu and you'll find there's virtually nothing on the menu. Buy a takeaway and take it with you to warm up. That's what I'll do if I go again. Curry or Chinese available nearby or take food with you. Google maps thinks that you arrive at the top of the hill. Use what 3 words mapping and you'll arrive exactly at the cottage. If in doubt, drive by Clyde cottage on your right. If it looks like you've reached a dead end or cul de sac then you've arrived.

Modern but old

A little difficult to find, signal wasn’t working on sat nav so couldn’t use the 3 words

A lovely cottage and place to stay whilst making our way from Scotland to London. Very comfortable and a cute little village.

The shower is inside the bath that has high sides. So it was hard for my mum (70) to get inside. Nothing really negative to say. It was great and the host was super helpful with responding to any questions.
