Hyggeligt, hjertelighed, dejligt værelse, charmerende sted og en fantastisk vært, som virkelig forstod at gøre opholdet til en særlig og god oplevelse.

Intet vi ikke kunne lide.

L'accueil au top du propriétaire, le bâtiment qui a du charme, le jardin très sympa, le confort des lits, le petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Gîte bien situé pour visiter Valenciennes ou les alentours.

Very pleasant place to stay

Very comfortable. Ideal for travelling around the area( we were cycling). It was a paradise in the city. Eclectic and exceptional in decor. The senses were stimulated both in the house and garden

Nothing it was exceptional

Everything was amazing! Exciting house with excellent design and a garden that was like a fantasy kingdom. The host was extremely nice and made our stay really interesting telling us all about the history of the house and region.

Town didn’t feel safe, not much choice for evening meals

Stylish quirky hotel with a great, friendly host. Lovely breakfast.

Location not in centre of town but there is a tram stop right outside and it is only €1 into town.

Très bel demeure, magnifiquement décorée avec un propriétaire très sympathique et aux petits soins. Chambres confortables et bon pdj. Juste dommage, et ce n'est pas la faute du Grand Duc, l'environnement est épouvantable, on se croirait dans un zoning.

The house is absolutely beautiful both from the outside and the inside. Philippe is an artist and it shows with the design and decor of the home (and garden too). The owner Philippe is very kind, generous, thoughtful and outgoing. You will feel like you are with a good friend.

It is a very nice, cozy and very artistically designed hotel. The owner is extremely nice and a very interesting and courteous person to talk to. The bed was very good and so was the breakfast. I look forward to my next visit when there is time to use the fantastic garden.
