The Heyford

I am pleasantly surprised with Heyford Hotel. A very modern and trendy place to stay has all the immunities you need and it’s really comfortable and relaxing. The only thing the hotel could improve on is the service when I arrived I waited the desk for awhile until someone came and the member of staff that did come couldn’t actually help me book in and also can help the customer in front of me book the bowling alley so we had to wait for particular member of staff who was apparently attending a room.

Modern and family-friendly hotel with a great service. Beautiful newly built area with a nice adjunct restaurant.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in, in the UK. The staff is incredible, very nice and helpful. The food was great, there is a nice garden with access to a playground in the back! Super convenient if you visit Bicester village. Highly recommend this place, especially with kids. Would definitely come back again soon.

Very nice hotel

The room looked lovely, however, one of the bedside lamps didn’t work- told receptionist- nothing happened. Went to fill the kettle up, but it would not fit under the tap in the bathroom. Went to ask receptionist where to get the water; she told us to come to reception each time and she would fill the jug up, which she gave us! The room to was very restricted, could set sleep timer, as all the settings were restricted. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were inadequate. The air conditioning would not go lower than 16degrees, therefore, too warm to sleep with such a heavy quilt. No where to place a hashtag in the bathroom apart from the floor. No where to put he case apart from the bed. The hotel has so much style over substance. It has the potential to be fabulous.

Overall good but a few things not worth the over the average price paid. The staff in reception first class and the bowling an unexpected great surprise. There has obviously been a good design element to to this hotel but the design over functionality has created a room with nowhere to put your case, a green plastic floral display that has attracted cobwebs and a bed too hard to sleep properly. Great location, nice staff but all a little lacking for the high overnight cost. Menu very limited also.
