The Heyford

Lovely hotel, very modern and clean. All the staff we encountered during our stay were polite and friendly. Only reason for giving a four star review was due to the fact that I had contacted the hotel prior to booking for a general query regarding room type and the lady I spoke to noted my query along with contact details (email and mobile number) and said she would have to find out the answer and get back to me.. I didnt receive a response. I felt this was quite poor as I refrained from booking anything as I was waiting for the lady to get back in touch and in turn only then booked a one night stay rather than two.

Very nice hotel and room

Great Hotel however if staying with a dog the £20 extra cleaning fee is a bit of a slap in the face when the room to start was not well cleaned. £20 for a supposed deep clean when the floors are mostly wooden with only a small amount of carpet. Disappointed at this, dirty used tissues and rubbish in bins, floor not cleaned, tea cups dirty and a used hankerchief hanging on the back of bathroom door!!

Staff were amazing and greeted us with a warm welcome. The staff in the bar (sports bar) were great, very accommodating and attentative. We made use of the bowling alley in the hotel which was a great additional to our evening... The food offering wasn't great in the bar area and sadly the time didn't allow for us to use the restaurant, but the pizza we ordered in the bar area to 'take-away' was fantastic. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable and all of the rooms amenities were in good order and of quality.

Had a lovely time at the Heyford!!! The staff Laura, Michael,Tilly were wonderful,they all went above and beyond to insure out stay was memorable. And we fell absolutely in love with Sir Ausington The Great!! HIGHLY recommended this hotel!!

Girlfriend was food poisoned and my food was also freezing took 40 mins to receive drinks would not recommend staying worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in asked for some type of refund and they declined

Lovely stay at the Heyford for a local wedding. The staff were super friendly and efficient, especially Rute who helped facilitate an early check in last minute. Hitel room was spotlessly clean and had grrat facilities. Bed was comfy, area quiet. Breakfast was gorgeous. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if in the area. Thank you.

Beautifully looked after rooms. Nice decor, spacious bathroom, great nights sleep.

Thank you to The Heyford staff, I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy and modern, cleanliness was on point, such helpful and friendly staff, good food, great environment. I highly recommend this place.
