The Heyford

A wonderful little hotel, suprisingly large bedrooms with modern designed bathrooms. Our room had a balcony which had beautiful decking and garden furniture. Breakfast had ample options from the hot menu and the restaurant is a wonderful, bright space with plenty of sun streaming in. Staff are very keen to be at your service, very polite. Special thanks to Michael who was at the reception desk overnight during our stay. He was very friendly and chatty, happy to offer as much help as he could. Would definitely return if I was in the area again!

Good new hotel with very clean facilities and onsite restaurant. Modern new rooms and convenient location for Blenheim Palace. Small items in room to fix - toilet seat broken and sink slow to empty with drainage smell. Main issue was the breakfast - full English all items under cooked looked good ingredients but rushed. My wife’s omelette was good but the teas arrived luke warm requested another but still waiting. Very friendly staff but only 2 waiting on all tables with what looks like only 1 chef in the kitchen. Continental breakfast was very minimal and very little choice. In short, fix some small room items but based on the breakfast not worth the money nor the high customer rating.

Overall experience was out of this world! Michael at reception was an angel, gave us all the details needed plus extra. The hotel cleaniness was 100/100! I have never stayed in a clean hotel like heyford i have no words. I will definitely be BACK!
