Charming hotel with great rooms. We like the area - quiet yet very close to many cafes and restaurants. The hotel has good character and we really enjoyed our stay.

This property is located in the heart of downtown. Walkable to many shops and restaurants. The staff were what set this place apart, though. They went above and beyond for us in terms of helping to coordinate taxis, give suggestions, hold our luggage for the day, etc. The rooms with mountain views were gorgeous at sunset and sunrise.

Great hotel, they were really friendly and helpful given we were planning to do the W trek. They allowed for super late check in after we were delayed, much appreciated!

The outside & common area are nice but the room is so old. Online pictures are deceiving, I feel scammed. This place costs $65 more than Hotel Vandaval, which I like a lot better (we stayed there 1 night), but is not as comfortable- the bed is hard to sleep on, the room smells like paint, toilet doesn’t flush well & old, bathtub is very high & uncomfortable to shower in, staffs are not friendly, breakfast sucks. House keeping hung back dirty towels that we left on the floor instead of giving us fresh towels. No body soap or lotion. Nothing positive I can say except it is located convenient just like any other hotels as PN is a very tiny city.

I was greeted with such warmness in spite of not traveling light given that I was on the tail end of my trip after Antartica. The bed was so comfy as the pillows. My room was on the 3rd floor, got a nice view of the mountains. The shower was cozy, with towel heater, hairdryer and warm water! The hotel is walking distance from the coastline and the town center. It was nice to take strolls up and down, to and from the hotel. Made my stay in Punta Arenas pleasant and just the right way to end my trip!

This property is more a hostel with private bathroom. Rooms were small and bathroom very outdated including a plastic shower curtain to replace the broken screen. Limited breakfast. They have an outdoor patio including sauna and jacuzzi area that even though is not advertised it is full of junk and old furniture, looks ugly and messy. Staff friendly

Excellent property

Really enjoyable few days at The Veat. Room was cosy and warm, and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Handy having an onsite cafe too. Staff friendly and helpful and we were able to store our luggage for a couple of days when we travelled elsewhere.
