The Veat

Hotel has what you need to stay the night: well located (walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc), small rooms, basic everything, clean, ok breakfast. To me pricey for the delivery but it’s high season.

Good place to stay. Short walk to everything. A little noisy in our room at times from street traffic passing by but not too bad. Would stay again. Decent breakfast but they should get better coffee.

Convenient location

Plenty of repairs to be carried out on the hotel property. Shower doors falling off, many amenities not functioning. And more

This hotel has a great view out of your windows. Walkable to tons of restaurants. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are neat and clean. There is even a towel warmer in the bathroom. My shower door is loose and needs some attention and the walls are thin for people that want to sleep in ie: if you have early hikers eating at 5:45 am, you can hear them. So if you want to sleep in, I do recommend some ear plugs for that night. Really great hotel and would stay again!

Great location with a great Restrurant next door. Clean rooms and bathroom. Staff always went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, good location, near waterfront and lots of good restaurants nearby. breakfast taste good, we need to take early bus to Torres De Paine National parks, they always made the breakfast ready in the early morning, also helped arrange tax for us, thanks a lot!

My friends and I stayed at the Veat on three separate occasions during our time in southern Chile. We all agreed, the Veat and the people and working partners who own it created the best hotel experience that each of us have had. We felt genuinely welcome, always. The people there are amazing, the rooms are spotless and the breakfasts are real food (eggs) and satisfying. Here’s an anecdote showing how cool they are there. We had to leave for the bus to Torres del Paine super early - before their usual breakfast time. They opened breakfast service early for that day just for us. Their comment was, “we don’t want any guest to leave without having breakfast.” So cool! Also, they will gladly store your spare luggage safely while you do the “O” or “W” treks. Thanks wonderful Veat people.
