Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort

Great position, only 20 mins from the airport. The rooms were decent sized and very modern and new. Service was first-class and the breakfast buffet is top notch.

Pool can get really crowded and noisy during peak hours.

Nice facility and very good service. Food was pretty good, too.

The beach isn't the best; the sand is too coarse and painful to walk on. Also, the Spanish restaurant, while apparently Michelin rated, wasn't very good. The set course meal was too much flare, not enough flavor. They placed three aged fish heads on a bed of raw rice with the fist course. It stunk and distracted too much from the dish. It seemed that way for each course.

Beautiful property, everything was included and was really clean and well looked after, didn’t feel on top of other guests lots of space. Several choices for food and drink, no real need to leave the resort, activities were available and great snorkelling

Personally it’s really far away from doing things like swimming with the whale sharks which I didn’t quite realise when booking as would have had to leave around 1am but you can book local trips so depends on your itinerary

After staying at Shangri-La, which we already knew was among the best in the area, we decided to give Sheraton Mactan a try. The level of service at Sheraton was just as great. A special mention goes to Nitchel at reception, who was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We also requested a late check-out due to our evening flight, and they kindly accommodated us— our kids got to enjoy the beach for the entire afternoon!

Breakfast buffet included was excelant. Overhead rainshower was great. Breakfast staff very good.

Dinner buffet at Php 3,300 pp was extortionate, I hated everything "is on the QR code"!, all drinks very expensive. Tea/coffee in the room was not replenished everyday and fridge was empty from arrival to departure. No instructions for telephone or TV. Room rates were very expensive for services and attention offered/provided. Taxi costs to Airport very excessive for a 10 min ride.
