Point Break Cottage

We stayed in a self contained cottage attached to the hotel which gives you the facilities of the hotel but with self catering options.

Really good accommodation. Good location near rhe waterfront. Very clean and spacious.

The advantage of this property is it’s on Main Road in Green point - it’s perfect for 3-5 people even though it sleeps 6. Its security is great with facial recognition. The cottage is attached to the hotel and nicely decorated with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are a few stairs in the apartment as rooms are on different levels, nice dining room table and open plan living and kitchen area. The cleaning staff did a great job, were trustworthy and came daily. You can use the restaurant and pool which is an added bonus and there is underground parking with lifts. Tea and coffee, salt and pepper are provided and basic amenities on the bathrooms. Nice size fridge and Tv with one comfortable couch. No waters are provided. Nice linen and clean white towels provided and the noughat sweets were a nice touch.

It’s extremely noisy and especially from the street side with the traffic in the surrounding streets. The garbage guys collect the bins which is right near the back bedroom. Access by the staff is at the back of the hotel so it’s also noisy. If you arrive late and don’t park in the basement you have a fair amount of steps to go up. You would need to call ahead for the security to help with bags. The kitchen definitely needs some added items- kitchen scissors, a frying pan, Tupperware, small sharp knives and serving bowls - although nice appliances, limited kitchen accessories. Dial public bathrooms in hotel reception and reception staff could be more engaging and friendly. There is very limited cupboard space in the bedrooms and fine if you are only staying for 3 days. Two of the bedrooms have a hanging rack. No double adapters provided in any of the rooms so you need to bring your own for two pronged plugs, No early check in so could only check in after 2:30pm

The location is superb just near the waterfront.. Easy access of uber rides.. The interior was just like in the pictures and was very much satisfied with the facility.. Reception desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.. The place was clean despite the 2 bathrooms having leaks with no mop around.. Overall twas a wonderful stay with my family and we enjoyed every minute😊

Some staff were excellent but some would ask for money.

It's a wonderful apartment with lots of space and a beautiful interior. It has three bathrooms which was great with three adults and two kids and we had a wonderful time. The cleaning personnel even cleaned the dishwasher after we had it running. We felt absolutely at home.

location is perfect, central few minutes drive to most tourists sites

our clothes got stolen, we were hanging them on the little patio to dry, I saw the person literally putting them into a plastic, we screamed he ran away...it was not a street hobbo, it was a smart looking man....you wouldn't have suspected him.
