"Road noise "

6.0

Property was nice, new clean and safe. Unfortunately our unit was on the street side and there is ZERO insulation in the walls or windows. The traffic noise was horrendous until the early hours of the morning. Beds were comfy but it didn’t matter- even with ear plugs in it was too noisy to get sleep.

Great place to stay. Full studio. Able to wash clothes and cook meals really saves time and money. The traffic noise from the street was a little annoying but it's not the fault of the property. Nice place to stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Perfect for a business trip or a place to stay when exploring the Reno/Tahoe area. Communication was a little scarce at first but I figured everything out easily enough. I loved my stay but wish the prices were lower. They keep going up!

"This place for sure deserves 5 ⭐️"

10.0

I travel for work and have stayed at several hotels here in Reno, but this has to be by far the best place I’ve stayed. I had a small issue during check-in, but the staff took care of it right away.

"Worst service and false amenity information"

2.0

This place is a joke and I would never recommend to families or groups that plan on enjoying Reno and normal hotel amenities. We decided to stay here because of the all the amenities listed in the rooms and on the property to stay entertained while we were in town for a baseball tournament. Gosh this place was HORRIBLE. First night our teens were harassed by a rent a cop named Louis that threatened to have them arrested. He told 14 year old brown skinned boys that they were to be arrested because of two other kids he had a problem with. He generalized all the boys and told them they couldn’t get in the pool or play in the game room. We spoke to him and wouldn’t get us his supervisors on the phone. This hotel doesn’t have onsite staff so good luck if you have complaints. My husband spoke to someone named May and she assured us a manager would be contacting us shortly and we never got the call. We were told we would be reimbursed for some of our stay and they would make sure we had access. Let’s just say none of that ever happened and we are still waiting for that call more than a week later. This place has false advertisement like crazy all over their site and booking sites. We got a message the next day stating that guests were only allowed some of the amenities, not all. Well guess what, that’s not listed on their site. Good luck cooking in their kitchen because you get one saucepan, one messed up skillet, and a giant pot. Had to wash in between making pancakes because everything stuck to it, flipped with a black spatula that was cheaper quality than the 99 cent store and burned if you even had near heat. Could swear these were recently on the news for having cancer causing chemicals in the black material, but hey feel free to have it all in your food with the way it comes apart. No measuring cup, no cooking tools, oh and the place falls apart if you just tap a broom to the baseboards while sweeping. The lights over the kitchen have to warm up and expect it to turn on after about 7 minutes. Our boys have never been in any trouble and just act like kids when together which involves playing around in the pool or pulling on each other while having us, their legal guardians around. Never did they damage anything or act disrespectful to any adults on the property yet had Louis following and making them feel unwelcome. Expect multiple noise complaints if you decide to grill and hang out in the designated area by long term residents of the place. Oh ya, the rooms to rent are basically unsold condos that they advertise online as a hotel stay. Its total bs and be prepared for the most awkward stay of your life. You will have to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and wash your own towels if you stay for a week like we did. Oh and no pool towels so take your own from the room as well and wash afterwards. This place was the worst experience and we will never come back to this hotel, and whoever RED is, shame on you for continuing to have such a horrible security guard that literally admitted he was a miserable child growing on the farm and that’s why he basically hates teenagers. Multiple baseball teams stayed here with us and we all hated the place and couldn’t believe the service we received. The real fun that I have to warn you about is watch out for the homeless people that walk right on in from the street through unlocked security doors. We opened our door to find a homeless man in a blue shirt standing in front of us mumbling and reeking of alcohol. But guess what, no customer service or real people to complain too. People complained about our noise yet residents had a full on Jerry Springer moment in the parking lot between a cheating guy and his girlfriend that left her family to be with him. Full on domestic violence and police called, but hey, how dare WE paying customers all cook together and laugh at 8pm in Reno. Kasa Archive could really be a great place to stay if they actually put a little effort into actually being a place to stay! You have been warned and hope you make a better decision than we did because this place may look nice but it’s pretty horrible when you are stuck for a whole week.
