RiverTree Villa & Resort

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel très agréable. Le cadre est très beau, très calme Les chambres sont très belles, balcon super agréable. Beaucoup de végétation. 2 belles piscines. Le restaurant est très bon. Le prêt de kayak pour se promener dans la cathédrale verte est vraiment un plus . Le personnel est très aimable et accueillant. L'hôtel est un peu excentré de kampot mais on peut bénéficier d' un trajet offert par l'hôtel par jour. Je recommande vivement.

Hide from view areas where you are still working on improvements. Start new initiatives to jointly clean up plastic in river and along access road to resort. Convince them to stop burning plastic. Clean and upgrade canoe launch and storage area.

The property is perfect if you want lots of rest and relaxation! Most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves during the day because other guests went on tours. Having saunas on property was an added bonus! The staff were attentive and accommodating.

The wooden boardwalks and stairs could use some refurbishments. Also, bathrooms need updating. The hot tub water looked clear, but once the bubbles turned on, there were lots of black particles floating in the water.

Petit déjeuner pas top en arrivant tôt viennoiseries encore congelées dommage pour un hôtel de ce standing. Et un soir et matin dès 6h30 du matin un groupe dans la piscine....

Location and ambiance

RIvertree is an unbelievable experience. The rooms are perfect, the staff are all outstanding and the food superb. We loved everything about the resort. It is a little way out of Kampot but it is simply 5 star. I’m not sure the photos on booking.com do it justice ! Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast choice was great and the lunch and dinner menu good. We would highly recommend and I do hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thank you.

The one and only downside for us was the wifi kept dropping out. Really not an issue.

Generally good - nice venue. Swimming pool was OK. Food was good with a decent menu & reasonably priced wine.

Not enough loungers, very difficult to move (into shade or sun) & they were a bit dirty. The restaurant service was very slow & erratic at times. Front desk organisational capabilities questionable. The Kampot area felt rundown, lacking in interesting shops & the ambience had a slight 'edge' - very different to Phnom Penh, Siem Reap & Battambang

Villa a bit of a weird configuration not the best use of space.. why was there a big kitchen with just a sink and kettle …. cupboard doors with nothing behind and a dining table???
