The place is clean and comfortable and has all the amenities we need for our stay for the 3 of us. This was very good of the host in WhatsApp video clip on how to pick up the keys and usage of the apartment. This was a great way to self check in. The host was great at helping arrange pickup from the airport as we had arrived at night. The patio has a nice view of the sun-rise in the morning.

It's a bit of a walk uphill from downtown if you don't have a vehicle.

It's a very lovely place, spacious and clean. Big windows make the whole place light up during the day, giving it a nice holiday vibe. Enjoyable view

The only thing we can think of is the location, since it's a walk into a hill from the main road, but it's not a big deal.

This was a fantastic apartment, we stayed for eight nights in total comprising of a family of two adults and two children. The apartment is very spacious with the living area comprising of an open kitchen and living area. And then there are two large bedrooms each with en suite. The television is full size around I would say 55 inches which doesn't come through on the pictures as it looks a lot smaller. Internet connection is brilliant, very fast. The apartment has ocean view providing a fantastic scenic location particularly during sunrise. If you walk to the bottom of the road taking a left will take you into the centre of Funchal (marina area), taking a right will take you towards another popular spot which unfortunately I do not know the name of, that has a cluster of shops, restaurants and swimming pools, both of these are about 20 minutes’ walk from the apartment. We booked a car for the whole week and therefore used the underground parking, the apartment has a dedicated spot which was very handy. The hosts were great, meeting us on time for check-in and asked us to check out by 10:00. All in all, cant fault this apartment at all and we will definitely be looking at rebooking in the future. The only thing we really missed was the absence of a shared swimming pool for children, other than that nothing can be faulted.
