Lovely maintenance man came as electric went off. He was nice and brought us a kettle.... No Lid... but a kettle.

FREEZING!!!! I took my 78 yr old mum with dementia to make memories. She slept in her clothes to keep warm and even had 3 duvets and socks on her hands. We were told the fire in the living spaced worked... It didn't. It was fake. There was no hot water, or just enough for hand washing if you were lucky. Our 13 year old has been admitted with chest infection as his room was so damp. The clothes he went in, he stayed in as the ones in the wardrobe were wet. We had condensation so badly that our pillows were wet through. We dreaded the nights and actually slept in the car on one occasion for warmth. We couldn't afford to go into another accommodation or we would have done. We were bitten and the crockery had food stuck to it and glasses greasy.

The staff at the holiday park were exceptional. They all went above and beyond to make everyone welcome and nothing was hassle. I called because we had difficulties with the key fob to get into the caravan. Within 5 minutes the maintenance person come and fixed the problem.

Quiet location within the site. Easy walk to the beach and estuary. Great central heating (cold weather). Great shower and other facilities.
