The setting of the Cabañas is amazing. The idea behind the complex is beautiful, and without a doubt, there's a lot of room for improvement with all the potential this places has.

Juan Pablo, the property administrator, was very rude and disrespectful. First, I asked for a bottle of wine/champagne that was supposed to be included with my purchase. This was confirmed by the front desk representative. After all this was cleared out, I started getting messages from the property asking for confirmation numbers and images, files, and screenshots as evidence. I provided them with everything. This kept going all night to the point that I started getting angry voice messages complaining about the bottle of champagne that they were not going to give it for free. I'd like to highlight that this was a <$10 bottle, nothing crazy expensive, and I couldn't understand all this issue for this bottle. Once I saw his attitude, i started explaining other complaints I had, like NO HVAC for starters on a warm day it was, breakfast never arrived on time and not even mentioning that I don't work neither for bookings.com nor the Cabañas Sotavento. I don't need to spend a second of my vacations with paperwork that they need to have set for me. Very very disappointed.

Súper linda vista, exc atención

This is one of the best cabana we stayed in. The location is great, friendly staff, excellent Guatape view, excellent amenities, and delicious breakfast. The property is clean, well maintained, safe and peaceful. You would at least want to stay here for 2 nights. We stayed for 1 night and it wasn’t enough. We didn’t wanted to leave. I highly recommend staying at this place. Sotavento was highlight of our trip in Colombia.
