Mount William Station

Where do I start!!! Being the only guests, we were waited on at every moment. On arrival, though slightly cool day, after a 7 hour drive we fancied a swim. The pool was quickly cleaned & sauna turned on to warm up afterwards - who does that for 2 guests! We had pre-dinner drinks in the drawing room & then served a gastronomic 2-course meal prepared by our own personal chef. We had full access to the kitchen for unlimited non-alcoholic drinks & asked to treat the house like it was our own home - it definitely was our home away from home & have raved to everyone about it!

Fabulous stay. Lovely location. Great food.

Dinner was excellent, prepared by a chef. There was a good selection of items for breakfast on the menu. Breakfast was prepared quickly and was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the freedom to walk around the farm and see the animals and gardens. The location near The Grampians is excellent.

Two comfortable chairs in the bedroom would have been nice.

What an amazing property, location and outlook. But above all the staff were brilliant from the ownership to catering staff. We arrived very late due to delays on the road. the team stayed around and delivered us a meal late, got us settled and let us have the run of the property. Best bed I've slept on in years Did you know there is rainbow trout on the property, or an olive grove. Alll this on a sheep and cattle station. What a hidden Gem

Such a beautiful property with lovely grounds and dramatic vistas of the Grampians. The claw foot bath was spectacular.

We had an amazing stay at this resort and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything was top-notch. We felt really looked after and really cared for at this hotel by Jess and the other staff. The property has an incredible history and every room has its own story. The 3-course dinner rivaled any top-end restaurant and our personal chef Kevin was wonderful. We met Will, the owner of this property too who was very welcoming and even took us on a little boat ride.

It was great, but there was a small smell in one of the main living rooms. Everything else was wonderful.

Staying in an original homestead was great and different to a modern experience. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds and scenery.

Would have liked an option/s for dinner rather than just what was served.
