AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness

12 horas antes de nuestro arribo nos cancelaron la reserva y nos derivaron a otro hotel de inferior categoria y mal ubicado. Los servicios fueron malos. habitaciones pequeñas, baño mínimo, no andaban las cajas de seguridad ni los telefonos. La atención mala

Location is great. Nice sized room and comfy bed. Lovely bathroom

No mention of the scaffolding outside the window or that there may be builders walking past. Heavy footed guest above - sounded like they were moving furniture about and doing a weights workout. Not great when you want an early night and a good sleep. Website mentions a coffee machine in the room - there was just a kettle.

We had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel in Inverness. Comfortable rooms, delicious and expansive breakfast offerings. The location so close to the river is great as we were able to walk to restaurants. Staff were kind and supportive.

The AC Inverness is certainly large and modern. Especially coming from London, the rooms are quite large and well laid out. The bed was confortable, there was a large tv, and there was a small fridge and makings for coffee, tea, and chocolate. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were well lit and very clean. Essentially, it felt a bit like an American Marriott: clean, well-lit, quiet, and with a lovely view of the River Ness, It was also walkable to the City Centre. In addition, there was also a decent bar downstairs. But we would not really have known we were in Scotland except for the accents of the staff. So there was not a great deal of character. Still, it was very pleasant and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Took our friends to AC Marriott at weekend for a meal and could not have been more delighted. Excellent service, thank you Anita, and the food was FAB and well priced. Normally go to usual local eateries but this place is now high on our list for the future.

Bit of a bumpy start with my initial welcome and confusion around what was included with the room but I spoke with the lovely Laura who took my feedback it as intended and really went out of her way to help and make my experience what you'd expect from a Marriott hotel. I can't speak highly enough of her and she really saved the trip for me.
