The Lodge at Healdsburg, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

As a guest who is close to achieving Lifetime status with Hilton, and someone who has enjoyed Hilton properties for decades, I was genuinely disappointed by my recent experience at this Tapestry property. During days two and three of our four-day stay, my wife became ill with a fever and needed uninterrupted rest. On the afternoon of day two, I encountered service staff who indicated they needed access to our room to upgrade the television module. I apologized and explained that my wife was not feeling well and that it would not be a good time. The following day, I received a call advising that a service representative was coming to complete the same upgrade. I again explained that my wife was ill and resting. A few minutes later, I received another call. When I reiterated that we could not allow anyone into the room, I was told, “They will get into the room.” I was taken aback by that statement. It felt inconsistent with the level of respect and professionalism I have come to expect from Hilton properties. I immediately went to the front desk to seek clarification and ensure there was no misunderstanding. I requested to speak with the General Manager and was told she would contact me that day. I made it clear that while I would be stepping out briefly, I was fully available by phone and that my wife was not to be disturbed. Unfortunately, I did not receive a call. I followed up later that afternoon in person and again the following morning, but the opportunity to speak with management did not occur until checkout, when the GM briefly introduced herself. At that time, I was informed that she believed I did not wish to be contacted due to my wife’s condition. However, I had made multiple requests for follow-up. What was most concerning to me was not just the initial statement about entering the room, but the absence of acknowledgment, clarification, or reassurance afterward. As a frequent traveler, I understand that operational challenges occur and that upgrades and maintenance are necessary. Those situations are typically handled smoothly and respectfully. However, communication suggesting entry into an occupied room after permission was clearly denied is concerning, and the lack of follow-up compounded that concern. I share this feedback not simply to express dissatisfaction, but because I believe in the Hilton brand and the standards it represents. I hope this experience can be reviewed so that future guests do not encounter a similar situation.

Everything! Staff attentive and responsive. Room was exceptional! Everything we needed and wanted. We will most definitely be back when coming through the area!

I booked this property because of the location and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, how nice everyone was and my room!

Clean room, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my big old man birthday and brought our old lady Chiweenie with us. Definitely get a room with a fireplace as we all made good use of in when it got chilly. Our little dog especially enjoyed warming up by the fire. The property is charming with a warm and inviting lobby to meet, imbibe, and hang out with the friendly and outgoing staff. The rooms are pretty quiet although if you have a room by the gate you'll hear it opening and closing during your stay. The lobby also functions as a bar (look for the funny sign) You are only a few minutes drive from downtown Healdsburg or about a 20 minute walk. Also check out Plank coffee only 3 minutes walk from the hotel, great food and even vegan options for people like us haha. The staff really are the star here and everyone we encountered made us feel welcome. When we come back to Healdsburg we will definitely stay here again!

The best thing we found was the bed was very comfortable. But I'm sorry to say the rest was meh. The hotel didn't offer any complimentary bottled water. You had to pay for them. The room also didn't have complimentary coffee in the room. The room had a coffee maker, but you also had to pay for the coffee. The hotel didn't have any low-cost amenities to make us feel welcomed. I know if they did, that could have encouraged us to come back. The room was small. The fireplace didn't work worth a darn. There were no flickering orange and yellow flames, or a warm, radiant glow. It didn't give us a cozy, sensory experience like a fireplace is supposed to give. One evening there was like a bumping-like sound coming from the fireplace that sounded like something was on the verge of exploding. We kept the fireplace off out of fear that it could explode. It surprised me to find the tissue box was empty in the bathroom. If you wanted to shower, there were only 2 bath towels to go along with 2 face towels and 2 wash cloths. Each day afterward the hotel gave us only 2 bath towels to use after a shower. We would have liked an extra 2 towels. The 2 faucets in the shower were kind of confusing because they both looked the same facing in the same position. You had to figure which faucet turned on the water and what the other faucet was for. We found one faucet turned on the water and the other was the shower diverter. It wasn't simple to begin with. The bathroom was too dimly lit to properly see yourself in the mirror. The poor lighting caused deep shadows making it difficult for my wife to put on her make-up. The lighting was inadequate and unflattering to her.

Heated pool advertised but was not working and staff wasn’t aware. Also had lots of leaves in it. They alerted maintenance but it wasn’t fixed during my stay High pet fee of $50 Soaking tub was nice, but no access to soap or shampoo from the tub as they were all hooked to the wall in shower and by sink No hot water to shower with or from sink 1/25 Someone was smoking weed in another room and the smell came through vents had to air out room at night
