Fairy Bay Lakehouse

Sehr schöne Lage am See. Zwei bequeme Sessel am Fenster. Kostenloser Parkplatz an der Lodge.

Ein Fenster konnte nicht mehr geschlossen werden, nachdem es geöffnet war. Leider fehlt ein Wasserkocher. Es gab weder Besteck noch Teller, falls man auf dem Zimmer essen wollte. Generell war es nur zur Übernachtung ausgerichtet.

Amit went above and beyond to create a welcoming experience for my visit at Fairy Bay. He allowed a late check in and ensured I had everything I needed when I arrived, he also helped me with accommodations in Algonquin Park afterwards. The best hospitality I’ve experienced in a while! Beautiful property & lake views, fully stocked with fishing gear, kayaks a bbq and fire pit. Will definitely be back!

Die herzliche Aufnahme und wunderschöne Lage des Lakehouse an einem eigenen Abschnitt des Sees fanden wir toll. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit, Kaffee zu kochen. Die Sessel waren besonders bequem und es war entspannend, auf dem Deck über den See zu schauen und den Wind in den Haaren zu spüren.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is set in a beautiful lakeside location close to Algonquin Park, with plenty of comfortable spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. Being right on the lake made it feel especially peaceful, and the canoes and paddleboards provided were a fantastic bonus, giving us a great way to explore the water and make the most of the surroundings. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a perfect base for exploring the area around Algonquin Park.

We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the mosquitoes were quite active around the lake, but that’s simply part of being in a beautiful natural setting and likely reflects the time of year rather than anything the host can control. If anything, a few extra citronella candles or bug zappers around the outdoor seating areas could be a nice addition for future guests. That said, this is a very minor point and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

It is in a fantastic location, direct beach accessed, onsite parking and close to Huntville. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the fridge and microwave were a nice addition

The beach and gardens were nice but needed more maintenance, I understand we are in nature but there was A LOT of animal poo on the beach and grass, you had to pick your way walking not to step on it. There is a shed that houses outdoor games - badminton, golf, boules etc, however you couldn’t play them as there were items missing from each. Shuttlecock, golf club, boules small ball. There is a no shoes indoor policy which is great but even so there is a lot of noise transfer when people are walking around upstairs. The pictures online are misleading regarding the shared kitchen. The photos you see belong to the Muskoka suite, the shared kitchenette is tiny and actually very run down, unlike the rest of the property, the fridge was out of order, there was a microwave oven but no hob, which was a shame as we were hoping to cook for the family.

Really appreciated access to the water and watercraft.

The safety lock on the door gave us some grief. Would have been nice to be able to open the windows.
