Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, in-house food and close to everything

An indoor pool would have been better than the narrow outdoor pool - weather was bad so I had 8 disappointed kiddos…

Brad is absolutely WONDERFUL and extremely friendly and kind and an AWESOME assistant manager and bartender 😀 Rene the GM is so personable and genuine Terris is so polite and it's a joy to see her smiling face 🌝 Susie is a great bartender Akash is such a nice and pleasant front desk addition

This hotel is like a home away from home, Very friendly staff that felt like family, Brad such a wonderful person, great bartender, I also met Rene, Susie bartender one night I was there, both front desk attendant was very friendly Terris and Akash. I highly recommend this hotel while visiting Chattanooga, Tennessee, great food, clean rooms and their housekeeping crew are very polite, and their Breakfast! Can you say Yummy 😋 Great location and easy to find, Me and my family will Always stay at Element Chattanooga East

⭐☆☆☆☆ By far one of the worst Marriott experiences I have ever had. I arrived at Element Chattanooga East around 5:00 PM to check in and was blindsided when I was told my confirmed reservation had been canceled because my credit card supposedly “didn’t go through” and the hotel was sold out. What makes this even worse is that no one contacted me. No phone call, no email, and no Marriott app notification. First I was told they called me. Then the story changed and I was told they didn’t have my contact information on file. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, that explanation is hard to believe because my information is clearly on file and up to date. Then another explanation appeared — I was told the manager canceled my reservation because I had canceled reservations in 2024 and 2025. Since when does a guest get penalized for using a flexible rate reservation as intended? I have stayed at this property multiple times and was even able to show Assistant Manager Brad proof of prior stays. The manager would not even come downstairs to speak with me directly and left Brad to deal with the situation. Multiple explanations, changing stories, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. There was also no issue with my card. I used the same card that day at another Marriott property without any problem. Showing up after traveling, expecting to check into a confirmed reservation, only to be told your room is gone with zero notice is unacceptable. I’m still left questioning what really happened because none of the explanations matched. I have stayed at many Marriott properties and have never been treated this way. I would never stay here again and would strongly recommend others think twice before booking.

Very nice and clean

I got charged double by booking.com and the hotel plus they did it refund the $75 (damage fee). Was there for one night and just basically slept there. Very upset with the whole booking.com process.
