Castle Cottage Winchcombe

Schattige echt Engelse cottage rustig gelegen midden in leuk Winchcombe. Huisje was super schoon en van alles voorzien. Contact met eigenaar was heel prettig en waren verrast over alle informatie die we kregen. Zeker een huisje waar we graag nog eens terug zouden komen

Bellissimo cottage in un villaggio incantevole con l'architettura storica meravigliosa. La casa autentica restaurata e arredata con grande gusto e attenzione. La casa aveva tutto il necessario e anche di più. Il giardino è pieno di fiori e i giardini dei vicini sono curatissimi. Silenzio, tranquillità, ma allo stesso tempo ci sono bei negozi e musei. Il proprietario è premuroso e gentilissimo.

It was a very cosy and comfortable, quaint little cottage. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to the Sudeley castle. The host, David, was very helpful in providing information, including precise directions to the cottage and also recommendations for places to visit and restaurants in the area.

The house is located in a good location. It’s cute.

We only used this cottage to sleep. It’s an old cottage. The furniture is old. There are these poles that come out of the bed in the master bedroom. They are old. We took a video of the room when we arrived, which shows them slightly leaning/ crooked. When we left, they were leaning a bit more. I did not even notice, because we just slept in the beds and left. The host thinks we damaged this old bed. No one fell, no one was crazy; I think these posts are old and a bolt is loose. That does not warrant keeping our deposit. I will never come back here just because of the owners. If they are reasonable, they will go look at their old bed and give me back my deposit. God knows we did not cause this damage.
