Tau House

La comida muy buena, guatapé es muy lindo. Las instalaciones también se ven muy cuidadas y muy lindas. Las vistas desde las zonas comunes también muy lindas.

Habíamos solicitado una actividad que ofrece el mismo hotel para hacer cuatrimoto y cuando llegamos, nos recibe un conductor de TukTuk cobrándonos un extra (teníamos entendido que estaba incluido en la actividad) y bastante grosero al preguntar también cuánto habíamos pagado por montar quatris. Nos deja nuevamente en el hotel y nos dicen que sí, que eso corre por cuenta nuestra y además en efectivo. Proceden a llamarnos un nuevo tuktuk y todos estaban ocupados así que tocó cancelar la actividad. Les explicamos que realmente esa gestión debió hacerla el hotel ya que se les avisó con tiempo y básicamente nos dijeron que era nuestra culpa. Nos entregaron la habitación a las 3:30pm (cuando llegamos al hotel 2:15pm) y las sábanas estaban húmedas. Pedimos que las cambiaran y lo que hicieron fue decirnos que eso era un spray que aplicaban para que oliera bien (realmente no olía a nada). Nos sentamos en la terraza a pedir bebidas y nos dicen que se demora 30 minutos porque hay mucha gente por delante. Le pregunté si realmente por un jugo y un coctel se demoraban tanto y el mesero solo contestó “Ah ok”. Pasaron 28 minutos y llegó nuestro pedido… así que el servicio del hotel realmente parece de uno de tres estrellas y no cinco como lo promocionan. Pedimos una habitación con terraza y con vista y nos dieron la del primer piso que daba a la piscina. Durante el día se escuchaban los niños gritando y durante la noche, la música de los asistentes borrachos. Menos mal llovió porque la “vista” que teníamos era de ellos en vestido de baño. Bastante costoso para lo que ofrece y sin hablar de los personajes de huéspedes que vimos en el hotel…

Great Hotel

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We came as a family and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully provided for comfort. The staff went above and beyond—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The location was ideal, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. The amenities, from the pool to the breakfast, were top-notch and added so much to our stay. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend this hotel for families or anyone seeking an exceptional getaway!

The views of guatape waterfront and vaulted cieling in the king room stood out to us the most. All the amenities were perfect all the way down to the gym area.

We liked everything, but one thing we would recommend is have the "Tau House" sign and address on the right side of the driveway entrance. It was difficult to see when driving up the hill because the sign is on the left side of the entrance.

2nd time at this property. Room now had AC. This properry is perfect!!!

We booked very last minute and only for one night but I wish we had been here longer. Excellent location, the breakfast was the finest we have had in Colombia and the waiting staff are beyond attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. I genuinely cannot find fault with this lovely hotel. I would certainly return and I highly recommend staying here.
