Starlight Motel

Starlight motel is definitely a gem. The owner greeted us with warmth and even presented us with fruit and cookies. Although breakfast was not included commas. The owner suggested a place nearby that we tried. The food was delicious and the place delightful.

We were totally satisfied with the accommodations at this motel and will recommend it highly.

Happy repeat customer (3rd stay here!) The facilities are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained - but what truly makes this motel special is the hospitality of the managers! Very welcoming - their motto is "Arrive as guests, leave as friends", and they live up to that motto! As a bonus, the views of the Sierras from the motel are stunning!

Kept awake most of night by tin sound in bed and outside loud noises.

The room had a very strong odor of cleaner in it when I arrived. It was too strong. Almost as if they were trying to make sure you know it was cleaned by using copious amounts of cleaner.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier und waren angenehm überrascht. Es handelt sich um ein kleines, einfaches Hotel mit einem extrem freundlichen Besitzer. An dem Abend, als wir dort übernachtet haben, hatte die Familie für eine größere Gruppe gekocht und wir wurden eingeladen, an dem leckeren indischen Essen auf der Außenterrasse teilzunehmen. Vielen Dank dafür! Toll war auch, dass das Bad ein Fenster hatte. Da auch das große Fenster am Zimmer komplett geöffnet werden konnte, haben wir einfach Durchzug durch Frischluft erzeugt und die Klimaanlage nicht benötigt.

Friendly staff, easily accessible, dedicated parking space per room. Comfy bed, shower had good temperature and water pressure. The welcome basket with fruits and cookies and water was a nice touch.

There could be more lighting in the shower. Bathroom (especially shower) was a bit small. Isolation through the door was not ideal, could hear outdoor sounds quite well. There was a chemical/chlorine smell upon entering the room.
