HACIENDA MONARCAS Resort

Took us about 30+mins to find the place. No Logo Name for the hotel. And although the gentleman on phone was very nice, still took us a while to find the place. The address on Hotels.com website is NOT the corresponding one from the actual place. Once we got there, the Lady at the reception said she didn’t have our reservation information and that it would be about 10-15 to get our room. She was very apologetic and explained the place was under renovations. Which we understood, but were not expecting Come night time we had NO HOT water, and by the next morning, NO WATER at all. We couldn’t take showers, or even use the sink to wash our hands let alone a flushing toilet. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED, the place was Beautiful, but doesn’t compensate not having even the basics as water. Wished this place was NOT taking reservations until remodeled was completed. For the price I payed, we could’ve At least had running water. VERY Dissatisfied Customer

Under preparation to reopen. Shouldn’t have been open yet. No food, no bar, no English anywhere. Ended up not staying at all. No English so don’t think I will get any of that money back. Too bad, beautiful grounds

Great Staff and they try to resolve issues. Very Clean. Poor Internet in some places. I will be going back.

We will breakfpdown the likes & dislikes DISLIKES-location shows on website located close to Centro, we drove around for 30 minutes trying to find hotel, it was located 4km away, false advertising of its location on expedia link to website, nothing nearby & cost us over $100 in taxis to attend rally event / 3 days no maid ever came to room to change anything / no living room furniture to sit on, one wooden chair / no coffee maker or availability or ice on site / hot tub was cold tub / my husband went to diff room in error and the key for our room opened another guests room door, very scary! LIKES-pleasing to the eye/tv wasn’t set up but staff came & fixed it/no English

The check in was super easy! The owner was there and greeted us and gave us a little history of the place. So it is going through renovations right now. The room we got was a two king size bed and it was spacious! The beds were comfy and the rooms were really clean. Since it’s renovating they didn’t have a restaurant/bar or food to buy. However, there is a gas station next door that sells hot food and beer. There was no fridg in our room but we had our cooler so we had our drinks in there.

I was expecting more of an actual resort style. I was not expecting a bunch of dirt surrounding me. The room was decent.

Really nice place to stayed

Easy check in, every staff member was a delight to interact with friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. Even with the remodel going on, the hotel has a clean and quiet ambience. A short drive to great dining and the beach. The pool is awesome. We will definitely return and recommend.

Decent stay. Looked like a newly purchased hotel and in slow improvement. Pool with a slide and landscaped common grounds are beautiful and relaxing...not too busy either. Each room has a nice patio with table and chairs. Room was decent size. Lots of colorful tile throughout. Bathroom very nice with large tiled shower and plenty of counter space. In the front of bedroom is a studio type room had TV but had no furniture and that a throw rug would have been a nice improvement and cut down on "echo" in room. Quiet and dark inside the room but pool nicely lit up. It's on edge of town and some of neighbors not eye pleasing. No food or beverages available on site but convenience store next door. Gated entry was ok. No 24 hr service at front desk...I think you gotta call. Price a bit high on weekend but mainly due taxes and fees. 4 hr drive to beach fro Tucson, Az.Think I'd stay there again.
