Glamping at the Retreat Wiltshire is rural bliss

Bed was comfortable all be it a bit difficult to get into as it was pretty high.

Tiny size of room and how detached the bathroom facilities were not reflected in pictures. Door didn’t feel secure and was very creaky. No space at all to prepare anything for breakfast. No blackout blind on door window so woken at sunrise each morning.

Cosy, had everything we needed. Location was key and being able to let the dogs run in the paddock was a huge plus! Shower was lovely and warm too. Host super friendly and welcoming, and lovely touch having some bread and butter etc in the fridge.

Not that it can be changed, but a toilet that you don’t need to go outside for… though in the warmer weather wouldn’t mind - but that’s just being picky.

Loved the space & donkeys

Lovely outback retreat, very peaceful with all you need. Close to towns if needed, if not a lovely break away from the ‘real’ world.
