Old Kyle Farm - Stunning Views - 2 mins from Skye Bridge

We stayed in the farmhouse and one of the smaller two-bedroom apartments. Properties were lovely and looked exactly as in photos, all facilities were spotlessly clean. (Though inevitably there were some spiders...) Beds were comfortable, kitchens were well-stocked, washing machine worked well. There was table soccer in the farmhouse which the kids (and the adults) really enjoyed. Very nice views of Skye from the farmhouse. We enjoyed it a lot.

Some issues with shower water temperature on one night, but since we had two showers that wasn't a problem. The TV in the farmhouse couldn't connect to wifi. For the smaller apartment, we had some trouble figuring out how to lock the front door even with the instructions (have to push up the handle really hard). Lots of midges around when the air is still, but that's a Scottish problem!

Las camas son impresionantes! De esas que te abrazan y no quieres salir de ahí. A la cocina no le faltaba un detalle. Muy completa. Todo muy limpio. No entiendo las críticas que había leído sobre las telarañas. Todo el mundo sabe que en ese ambiente rural sin imprescindibles y no denotan falta de limpieza en absoluto.

Un poco caro para mi gusto. Pero es lo que hay…

Alojamento excecional. Tudo super limpo e bem decorado. Camas confortáveis e ótimas comodidades. Localização 5 estrelas.

Convenient location to break journey home

Nowhere to put clothes. The floor plan pinned on the wall showed this new studio unit development with a wardrobe in the bedroom but this hasn't been provided. Fine if you are the Naked Rambler but not for us! The space around the bed was very narrow with no room for a bedside light. Although the shower room with toilet and basin is excellent, this very compact unit is mainly suitable for an overnight stay. It is overpriced for what it offers.

Location was great with pretty views. We were only there for one night, so not much to review. Was very comfortable had a large kitchen area and living area. Overall really enjoyed our one night there. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved the charm of the Farmhouse, decor and set up. The kitchen was well stocked. We found a nice trail not far away to walk in the evening.

We arrived to lots of spiders and bugs and unfortunately left covered in distressing bug bites. We do understand that it is a country farmhouse, but you'd think that with regular cleaning the spiders wouldn't have taken over. We did follow the rule of keeping the windows closed when not there as there are no screens.
