Simply but nicely decorated and furnished. Good quality bedding and towels. Quite well equipped. Great central location. No TV!

Noise from neighbours. No parking (albeit plenty of car parking in car parks close by free from 6pm to 8am.

"Calm and classy stay in central Totnes"

It’s a fantastic location, near the centre of Totnes yet beautifully quiet. It’s nicely appointed and the bed is very comfortable. The DAB radio was an excellent bonus.

It took a lot of pestering to get the instructions to get into the house. They finally came at 10.30pm the night before I got there. The website description wasn’t accurate, and after an email the owner has largely improved the details. There’s still mention of ‘water sports facilities and a fitness room and a squash court’. These are not on site, and that still needs clarifying.

Well equipped, decorated and furnished. Great location, quiet, next to the car park and a two minute walk into town. Lovely bed linen and a comfortable bed.

Great location - so close to the high street, but still quiet - a beautiful little cottage with lots of character, lovely rooftop terrace

I had to remind the host to give me the key code to get in, the smoke alarm was faulty, could have had more curtains (especially for night-time trips to the loo)

Really beautifully presented cottage furnished and decorated with care. Situated conveniently short walk to Totnes Market Square and pay and display carpark.

Tea and coffee to use left in cupboard - but a pint of milk in fridge would have been a nice welcome.
