"Scam- Stay Away "

Terrible, Scam. Old musty wet tents, worse than camping. Moldy, Wet Carpet. This should not be on hotels.com website. Stay away, this property is unsafe with health hazard conditions.

I really wanted to like this property. My husband and I are frequent campers, and have also stayed in various “Glamping” properties. This was listed as a Glamping experience, and it was not. Luckily, we arrived before dark or we would never have found the property. The instructions were to drive slow so you don’t miss the turn off as it is overgrown and hard to see. Problem is you are driving on Hwy 101 with logging trucks speeding down the road, it is hard to go slow enough to see the turn off and still be safe. When we arrived the lanterns provided were very dim, they were powered by solar and it had been overcast. When we checked for batteries there were none. It was too dark at 7:30 in the tent to read, so we went to bed early. The floor was very uneven, with many tree roots and a hole in one corner. I tripped and almost fell twice getting out of bed. It rained all night and there were a couple of holes in the tent. Luckily not over our bed or our bags, but there was water on the floor in the morning. There were no trash cans in the tent or on the property, only small ones in the bathroom which were overflowing. The bathrooms were filthy, and we are seasoned campers so used to some sketchy outhouses/bathrooms. We flew in from out of state and did not think we would need to bring towels since this was “Glamping” not camping. When I asked for towels we were told they did not provide any, so 4 days, 3 nights with no shower?? No thank you. We left after one night.

"Not worth the money they charge"

4.0

The tent was torn amd stained from mole on one side. Had to ask to get tent properly tied down. Very little room for paking. Grounds littered with trees that had been cut. Garbage piled up behind bathroom. Woke up by person beating on roof . Hammering down plywood at 5:30 am. Finally decided to leave. Not worth my time to stay again. Reported all to someone at hotel's com. Ultimately i was told they would consider a partial refund. If I would notwrite bad review. No partial refund happened. I wouldnot recommend this place to anyone.

"Believe fhe poor reviews "

6.0

Expect to be a little disappointed. Our tent was not as nice as the photo. It was clean, and comfortable to sleep, which is why I gave it the stars I did. The site managers texted to let me know if was a new site, but my bed already had sunken in from previous campers, which left me unsure if that was accurate. The site looked like an unfinished construction zone too. Not nearly as scenic as the photos portrayed and torn trees everywhere, which was rather unsightly. Restrooms were a haul along unit and the stairs to get to them had no support at all. They’d also used very cheap solar lights everywhere, and they didn’t last long. It was dark anywhere you’d look. Thank goodness for phone flashlights. Now, it was cheap, so it’s not the worst value for the price, but I’m not too sure I’d go back.

"Not quite glamping"

6.0

Definitely not glamping but a quiet, reasonably comfortable tent stay. Shared bathrooms were tiny and did not stay clean long. Paper towels ran out almost immediately. For the price, easy overnight en route to our adventures. HOWEVER, NO POTABLE WATER. That is a huge problem when you are hosting people at a camp site.

This was VERY different than shown in both pictures and descriptions. First, this is ONLY a tent with beds, and a FAR restroom/shower facility that gets dirty really quickly (if not the first to use). The tent only provides 1 lamp which runs out in less than 1 hour. The pathway to the tents were completely dark b/c the solar light spokes don't get light to charge. There are no outlets (understandable), but means you will be in complete darkness by 6pm. The rooms only have the bare minimum - bed, quilt, and the 2 folding chairs. There are no other decorations/shams, rugs. The restrooms are only close to the first 2 tents but the rest of the 18 other tents are very FAR, making the restroom trip after 7pm almost impossible. Due to a lack of lighting or signage, during our nighttime bathroom trip, we almost walked straight into the open road had we not been frightened by the car sounds. DANGEROUS. Additionally, once cars are parked in front of their tents in limited spacing, it's difficult to drive through and navigate. The tents do have privacy for the most part, but being so deep the trees with no pathway lighting makes it a difficult trek going to and from the tents. It was lacking for the most part and I was disappointed to find that it was SO different than what was advertised. Had I known, I would have chosen a different place for the same price. Basically, if you just want a tent to be set up for you, this is the place to go. Campsites w/ showers are a much better deal.

It looked like the property was still being excavated and cleared. This is not glamping but camping with the cute, roomy tent already put up for you. Don’t forget your head lamp. You will probably end up peeing in the woods cuz of the bathroom truck location. There are solar lights but little sun in this his heavily wooded camp sight…if it really is a camp sight!
