The location is too isolated

Location is beautiful, such a comfortable bed and beautiful room with a view of the sunrise. The water of the pool was excellent in the morning and the fresh air, away from too much city is just right for me!

Not sure why, but the water was not warm in the morning. It quickly went cold. There was a strange boy who stared for way too long, it made me very uncomfortable.

Ich habe einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Olsupat Lodge und kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Mein großes Deluxe-Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und jederzeit top sauber. Insgesamt ist die Lodge der perfekte Ort, um dem Trubel der Großstadt Nairobi zu entfliehen und richtig zu entspannen. Die Lage ist etwas ganz Besonderes: Direkt am Nationalpark – ich konnte tatsächlich Giraffen von meinem Balkon aus beobachten! Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr grün, liebevoll gepflegt und angenehm ruhig. Die Pools sind toll und laden zum Abschalten ein. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich wirklich umsorgt. Gerade als allein reisende Frau habe ich mich hier jederzeit sicher, wohl und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt – das ist mir besonders wichtig. Auch das Essen ist fantastisch. Man sollte etwas Zeit einplanen und früh genug bestellen, da alles frisch zubereitet wird – aber genau das merkt man auch. Es lohnt sich absolut! Besonders empfehlen kann ich das Chicken Cashew Nuts, den Spinat und das Kartoffelpüree – alles unglaublich frisch und wirklich sehr, sehr, sehr gut. Der Service insgesamt ist tipptopp: tägliche Zimmerreinigung, Wäscheservice, Roomservice (den ich zweimal genutzt habe) – alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die Anfahrt: Man muss eine stark befahrene Straße nutzen, und vor allem zwischen 16 und 19 Uhr kann es von Nairobi aus sehr lange dauern. Der letzte Teil der Strecke ist zudem nicht mehr befestigt, ein gutes, geländetaugliches Fahrzeug ist hier definitiv von Vorteil. Hat man es aber erst einmal geschafft, wird man mit einem absolut wunderbaren Ort zum Entspannen belohnt. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

The roads to the property

The location is amazing for relaxation. The birds, the river and park next door made this stay special. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, right from breakfast to the other Ala Carte meals.

Rooms are clean and spacious. The pool is excellent. Location is calm and quiet. Carry Winter Jackets it's cold here. Loved the Service.

Breakfast and Food can be better. Needs improvement in terms of taste and preparation.

The location is very nice. The pool, garden en even the view from the balcony. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet, “zen” place to relax, this is a great spot to book. It does get very busy with lots of locals on the weekends, but personally I found that all the more enjoyable.

Not much, maybe the shower did not have enough pressure, but I guess that is something that comes with the location the place is in.
