The location and grounds were very nice. The breakfast was outstanding.

I understand that this is a small business with limited staff, but we would have welcomed a call/text prior to our appointment when staff has to be elsewhere. I appreciate the apology afterwards, but a timely call/text would have shown respect for your guests' time/schedule. There were various small maintenance/repair items that should have been checked/addressed before guests arrived (e.g., bathroom light, bathroom window crank, nightstand plug/USB unit, etc.). Also, the room itself was generally dark, with only two nightstand lamps - even though there was a wall switch near the door which presumably was for a ceiling light (as in the bathroom), though there was no such light. All of this may sound minor/trivial, but little annoyances like these detract from an otherwise upscale property - for the price charged, we expected a little more attention to the details.

Loved our stay! We came for our anniversary and were greeted with sparkling wine. All of the staff members were so friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were *amazing.* It's convenient to Calistoga for dinner (not walkable, but check out the local shuttle that will pick you up at the hotel and take you anywhere in town for $1!) The grounds were gorgeous, perfect for relaxing with a book. I loved that it had a pool and hot tub too. Totally recommend.

We loved the location - in a vineyard, very close to Calistoga. We also loved the breakfasts - all prepared thoughtfully with fresh ingredients. Our room needed a bit of deep cleaning, paint and the house looked like it needed some maintenance. The bed/linens/towels/robes were excellent. The pool was refreshing after a hot day.

It was quite a pleasant stay ! Loved the property and the calming vibes. This vintage place is a must visit/stay . The garden, patio, food, service, cleanliness everything was excellent. A lovely place :)

The chef Carlos prepared a different and delicious breakfast each day. He was a skilled chef and a friendly efficient server. Breakfast under the trees on the patio was a favorite part of the day.

Nelva was the best host ever she made the best experience for us! so charismatic and nice person! we loved her
