We had a wonderful time! They were so nice! The property is beautiful. It felt very private.

What a fantastic find. From the minute we arrived we were made most welcome. We had a beautiful, quiet cool room, we had the freedom of the garden and patio area to sit and enjoy a bottle of local wine while staring at the most stunning views. Wonderful place, wonderful staff, book it, you won't be disappointed!

This was a real gem of a property. The host Nelva was very hospitable and made it feel like a homestay more than a hotel. She made us fantastic breakfasts, customizing everything to our liking, and went out of her way to be helpful (e.g., EV charging, wine). We will definitely be back!

Hard to find something to complain about! A minor issue could have been that we initially were given a room that did not have an attached bathroom. Perhaps I booked that by mistake but I never would have done so intentionally, so please make it more clear on all your booking platforms that this is a limitation of that room.

Very charming location in Calistoga. Peaceful and right next to a working vineyard. Excellent service from Adilene. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

Nelva made our stay super special. The greenery and how private it was.

Property could stand a little overhaul. But, as is. It kinda sorta really reminds you of old countryside French Chateaus. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. So, there are some stair climbing to do. So for those that might have challenges with stairs, this might be a concern.

The place is beautiful, serene in the middle of vineyards, but close enough to restaurants, wineries. Our hostess Nelva was the best, really brought experience over the top with her friendliness, attentiveness, and the breakfast was amazing! This was a great way to cap our trip to Napa. We will be back and highly recommend it.

I loved how quaint it was. I felt like I was in the country side in France! The staff was amazing, they served us breakfast the next morning. The room was comfortable and the house was so cozy! I wish we had more time to spend there! We will definitely be back!

Our bathroom was across the hall and sometimes the other guests disregarded the sign saying it was only for us to use. It’s not the property’s problem though, just a bummer with the other guests when they had bathrooms In their rooms to use

The property is very peaceful and just far enough out of town to be removed, but close enough to get to the center of Calistoga in a few minutes

We were not expecting that the bathroom would not be in our room. It was down the hall. I think it would be helpful for Booking.com to advise guests that this is a possibility to be aware of. Only one room did not have a bathroom in the room. The pool could use some upgrading.

Decent location, great views and outstanding staff

The pool was full of green algae and the cushions were completely sun bleached. They looked tired would be generous. Nothing at all like the photos and definitely not anywhere near the price point demanded

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The manager, Nelva, was extremely courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. You can hear a little traffic from the highway but not bad at all. The place is surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the distance. And as someone who does most of the cooking, it was very nice to have someone else cook for a change (both breakfasts were delicious)! About a mile from downtown Calistoga and several local wineries, Chateau De Vie is a gem! A better experience than almost any hotel or resort we’ve stayed at in 15 years. We highly recommend it and won’t bother looking for a different place the next time we visit Calistoga!
