Anchor Bay Inn and Suites

The location is in a good area, the place is quiet, and stores are not far away. The only problems I had was the room had so many spider webs and spiders like it hasn’t been dusted in a while. There is no sink in the kitchen area which wasn’t a big problem, but would have been more convenient.

We had a lovely stay !

The codes for the doors were not sent to us until 3pm the day of, and was incomplete because it only had codes for one room. We called the number sent with the door code and no one answered, I left a message and HAVE NOT received a callback yet. There was no information on site for contacts or anyone to help us. The locks on the doors were cheap and we found that they operated strangely, if at all. we were able to open the one room door that they sent a code for after several tries. The room was small, very clean, the kitchenette was a surprise. We went back to the website for this property and immediately saw at the upper left corner the statement for 24/7 support, we did not get any support, so this was laughable. We ended up going to find another hotel to stay in since they wouldn’t call us back. People, the pictures on their website are deceiving and do not show the motor inn or lodge experience you are about to have! Stay away,far away!

Our room was great, comfortable, and clean!

Definitely a no frills hotel. Room was clean but smaller than pictures would imply. Bathroom was very small....and paint and walls needed much touching up.

Great place for a relax getaway

Just okay, expected a lot better for the price. The reviews were really good so I was a little confused. The musty smell was horrible, I felt like I smelled like it when we left. The room was way smaller than the pictures looked. It was really hot, and they had a window unit so it took until about 2 am to cool off. I will say it was cleaned well except for 2 hairs on the shower wall, so I'm not sure that was cleaned.

Was really a cute place! The floor in my room could have been swept better and there was dog hair all over the couch. But it was really nice other than this small thing. Like the easy check in and contactless.

Older property revived nicely. Clean, updated, comfortable bed and linens. Would definitely recommend for lodging convenience to Cedar Point.
