WiFi speed was slow sometimes

I have stayed at The Grant by Black Swan several times because not only are the units part of history they are perfectly designed, comfortable, super clean and offer more than a standard hotel room but the location is perfect. You are right in the center of restaurants, shops and squares so everything is in walking distance.

**NOT ** the fault of The Grant by Black Swan The whole historical district is under renovations so there is construction noise but The Grant has tried to do their best by providing sound machines to help. At night because you are in the hub of restaurants there can be some noise but only till midnight then things quiet down. Also there are more homeless people who tend to sleep by unused shops BUT we never came across anyone who was bothering people. A few asked for money but in a respectful manner.

The apartment smelt a little musty.

The property was in a good location on the main road in Savannah. Facilities were modern and check in process was easy.

We booked and pre-paid for a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit for four nights. Upon arrival, we were placed in a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit without prior notice or consent. The management admitted this was their error. While they offered a full cancellation or to move us to different rooms each night during our stay, neither option was reasonable for our trip. They refunded us the price difference between the 2-bedroom and 1-bedroom unit. No further compensation or discount was offered for the misrepresentation of the unit and the major inconvenience we experienced. Repeated requests to speak with a manager were ignored which made the situation even more frustrating. This experience felt misleading and poorly handled. I would caution anyone booking here to confirm in advance that the unit you selected will be honored upon arrival. Although the facilities were modern and the location was good, the bathroom had a sewage smell, the faucet constantly dripped and the elevator did not always work.
