This hotel is absolutely stunning. From the architecture to the art to the gorgeous views, everything is so well curated and well presented. The staff really does make this place an absolute pleasure. My stay would not have been anywhere near as enjoyable if it weren’t for Rafa, Dany and Max. They were all so welcoming and friendly. The hotel’s restaurant was very good, and the bar selection gave me a wonderful opportunity to try fantastic local spirits. I honestly didn’t want to leave the property. With that being said, this hotel definitely has its quirks. Each room is individual and different…sexy and sophisticated. BUT…you can hear every single noise from the restaurant above. I spoke with the staff about this and heard about the great lengths they’ve gone through to remedy this. They actually closed down the hotel for two weeks to pull up the entire restaurant floor and install sound deadening foam. Unfortunately it didn’t work. The good news is that everything closes up and quiets down around 11pm. There is also no air conditioning. In the entire hotel. So even with the room fan on high, it was still quite warm. If you have to have your hotel room cold, this may not be the place for you. The hotel also lacks a few conveniences of other normal hotels. There are no irons or ironing boards in the rooms. Nor are there any ice machines. They do have tiny refrigerators and safes, though. Despite these quirks, this hotel is absolutely worth a stay. I enjoyed it greatly

Great hotel experience all around. The restaurant food and drink was fantastic. Staff was super helpful and attentive. Great rooms.

INFAME ATENCIÓN. Es increíble que en un hotel de este precio, no haya ni siquiera quien te ayude a cargar las maletas. Sumado a esto, el personal del hotel "estaba demasiado ocupado para darnos el recorrido de bienvenida" (palabras textuales) Cuenta con una alberca de agua HELADA y de PÉSIMA CALIDAD, un jacuzzi que no funciona y únicamente dos camastros para todos los huéspedes en el área de alberca. El staff ni siquiera es capaz de acercarse a ofrecer toallas, o algo de beber. PÉSIMA ATENCIÓN Y CERO DETALLE AL CLIENTE. JAMÁS VOLVERÍA. MUCHO MENOS LO RECOMENDARÍA.

Absolutely stunning hotel and experience. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and they’re invested in the hotel and love the property too. The art installations take it to another level. One thing to note is the hotel is an architectural home converted into a hotel so it is comfortable like a home and laid out that way. There are only 11 rooms as well and not that many staff, so it does feel a little more casual than other high end hotels. The service is wonderful though and they take care of you and pay attention to everything. The staff agreed that if any improvements should be made to the hotel it would be installing air conditioning. There was no cross breeze or real windows in our unit during this hot season, but leaving the door open with the provided fan cooled the room off enough to be comfortable at night. Absolutely love this hotel and would stay again!

Hotel muy bonito limpio y tranquilo

De architectuur en de inrichting van het hotel en de tuin zijn fantastisch. Ook het terras van de bar/ restaurant, met panoramisch uitzicht over de stad.... fantastisch. Het ontbijt, diner en de dranken, goede selectie en aan redelijke prijzen. Ruime kamer (la Roja) Met balkon met uitzicht over de stad. Housekeeping is niet optimaal maar ok (vingerafdrukken op het glas bij het balkon, drinkbaar water pas wanneer we er om vroegen, wat stoffige vloer..) Ligt wat afgelegen buiten de stad, in de buurt is er verder weinig te beleven, je hebt een taxi nodig om naar de stad te gaan. Jammer dat er soms feestjes zijn met luide muziek tot 11 u avonds, niet leuk als je daar geen zin in hebt. Maar verder was het doorgaans rustig. Zeker een aanrader om een keer te ligeren

Hotel Flavia has potential with its excellent atmosphere, city views, comfortable beds, and great showers! However, our stay was pretty disappointing due to several issues with the staff, food, and room temperature. The welcome drinks weren't good. Despite the pool being right next to the bar, we had to ask for service. The appetizers we had were good. Dinner wasn't anything special, and despite their low number of menu options, they did not have chicken, and my husband had to dispose of the poor-quality beef. The dessert was completely overpriced and such a joke! I will gladly pay for anything that is good, but their dessert was basic, something you can make at home out of a box. Breakfast was a letdown, too. Despite explaining in Spanish how we wanted our eggs cooked, they managed to overcook them. We even pulled up a picture because we could tell the waitress was struggling to understand. They kept running out of basic ingredients, which was frustrating given the number of options they had. The rooms didn't have AC, and the fans they provided weren't enough to keep us cool. We had to leave the window open, but then we got woken up by barking dogs in the middle of the night. Overall, while the hotel looks good online, the reality didn't match up. The staff seemed overwhelmed and felt like they weren't properly managing the place. It has potential, but they need to step up their game with better management and food quality for us to consider returning.

the property is beautiful. the staff was (Rafe and Max) exceptional-friendly, responsive and had great suggestions for things to do and eat. the cocktails so very good!! Food very good as well. Just a beautiful space at every turn. it is 20 minutes from the city centre so you have account for that everyday. and it is a steep hill but the view is worth it! the surrounding neighborhood is not walkable...they should pave the road next to the hotel where there are private homes. HOOKS in the bathroom for towels please!

Flavia is off the charts ! Elegant, modern, fantastic vibe and great service. Privileged location on top of the hill on the Northern tip of the city with breathtaking views !! Rafa (at the reception desk) was super helpful. Will definitely come back.
