Beds have curtains, restaurant looks nice

Bare minimum, just bed & bathroom. Mattress not comfy at all and many annoying noises in the room.

Mar 10, 2024. BEWARE of NIKIKOT Hostel in Antigua. The management at this place is horrible. By phone and in person we went to cancel this reservation (in enough time), but the management was not friendly or responsive. They promised to cancel the reservation without a charge, and it was canceled on booking.com. However, a month later when I checked my credit card statement, they charged me using the name of RAWAJAI LA ANTIGUA for even a higher amount. Horrible. Also, when we went there in person, it looked horrible (compared to all of the other places on the street).

Lugar bonito, limpio y conveniente para dormir/estadia corta. El unico inconveniente fue que dice que hay parqueo cerca, no es el caso.

It’s an ok place

all rooms open up to a patio. On that patio they will have parties with music until 3am - so forget about sleeping before that time. The parties re open to the general public so it just doesn’t feel safe. Drunk party guests will bang at your for fun and staff won’t intervene. Supposedly they have a small print somewhere that says they do have live music. Wouldn’t have expected to not sleep for days and pay so much money for it

It felt very private for a hostel and the staff was very organized and attentive. They were able to check me in fast and arrange transport to Panajachel. I would definitely stay here again.

The inner courtyard is a lovely place to relax and do work. They offer free coffee (you have to ask for it) and there’s a bar here at night that offers great drink prices. They lock the main door at night so it feels perfectly secure. The staff was constantly cleaning throughout the day so the place is spotless.

The restroom and wash area, and shower were a bit tight. The shower I especially wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. The “continental” breakfast isn’t continental by American means (in USA a continental breekfast is an included buffet); however the $8 continental breakfast that they provided was absolutely delicious
