Wifi pretty good

Where to start. The AC doesn’t work properly. It was way colder outside than in the room. Even a fan would have been better. The staff don’t speak english, only the owner, and they don’t really seem to be very keen to help you. But that’s not the biggest deal… The room was not clean, not even the bedsheets! There were spots that you can tell that washing it would go off. I had the feeling they didn’t change the bed sheets, the smell could tell. Unfortunately for them, I saw one day how they just superficially “cleaned” the bed and made it without changing anything. Gross Moreover, it was hard to fall asleep because there is a big family (or group, I don’t know) living there (or coming all the time) speaking incredibly loud. Shouting till late night and doing pool parties. Everyday at 5am they start screaming again and you can hear EVERYTHING. Soundproof rooms??? What a big lie! I felt it very disrespectful and unprofessional. Also, there is no trash in the bathroom, but they expect you to not flash the paper in the toilet… Honestly, nothing worked there. I would never go back again

Possibility to chose breakfast, swimming pool, laundry service, close to the beach side with lots of food stalls, quiet place

The room was super clean and the staff we're very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really tasty.

I booked a double room but ended up with twin beds. I saw that there was another room with a double bed so I asked if it was available. They said no it was booked but the next morning the room was still unused.

Big room and comfortable bed. Great price.

Rooms are not sound proof

The places was very calm and relaxed.

Josh Guest House is a gem of simplicity and comfort in Bali. The interiors are straightforward yet inviting, with a bright ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The friendly and responsive staff add to the welcoming atmosphere, always ready to assist with a warm smile.

While the pool is smaller and breakfast is modest, these minor aspects are quickly overshadowed by the overall excellent value for money. The guest house is conveniently located near Lavina, a popular spot for enchanting dolphin watching tours, adding to its appeal.

the room was clean, the locaton is close to Lovina and the city, easy to get things around. the water in the pool is not too clear. but i like the shower in the bathroom.

I had a problem with the breakfast. during the check in I was informed by the reception that the stay is exclude breakfast. I checked and show the prove that my stay will be including the breakfast and the girl say yes. she offered me some breakfast option and I had immediately choose what I want. during the breakfast time I met a man there in charge and said I have no breakfast. finally I have to wait about 25 minutes to deal with it and the man gave me the breakfast. It is not a big deal but I expected a better communication between the staff. For some people breakfast might be a big start to their days ahead and also a big thing to comment along with their stay.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, the location is great - very close to small restaurants and a quiet boulevard walk, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

It would be great to get some fruit at breakfast next time.
