It’s ok

Super mooi verblijf. Lekker zwembad en goed eten. Ook de gym was goed! Puntje voor verbetering: we kregen geen gratis water bij lunch en diner. Het was ook niet de bedoeling dat we dat pakte want dat hoorde bij het buffet en niet bij a la cart.

I think the staff at the Sentra are really outstanding! We had some things that needed attention and they were on it right away. The front desk was exceptionally helpful. They arranged a number of things for us. Another thing to think about and praise is the food service. Their free breakfast buffet is truly amazing. Because we visit Manado and the surrounding area about every two years to visit her large family, we have ended up staying in quite a few of the area hotels. the Sentra's food is the best of all. And that is saying something. One thing we often order is the Manado porridge, called Bubor Manado among other titles. The Sentra's is the best! Over the course of our month-long trip, we stayed at the Sentra 3 times. We mad friends with the manager, the chef and cook and sevaral waiters. They treated us like royalty honestly. Due to the close proximity to the airport and some of my wife's family, and the excellent excellent service, we now know where we will probably stay on future visits. One other thing; the Sentra is actually connected to one for the area hospitals if you need medical care quickly. I highly recommend this property.

Staying on one of the upper floors can be quite noisy of an event is happening on the 6th floor (Ballroom). Ask for a room on a lower floor.

The hotel is in a huge complex that also includes a hospital under the control of the same owner. My wife and I were perfectly satisfied with the room, which had a balcony overlooking the parking lot and, beyond it, a cemetery. The free breakfast was fantastic, with a huge spread that included delicious vegan options for picky eaters like us.

I don’t like the hotel

The property is not as sharp as in the photo and everything is a bit dirty. Especially when we discovered that an old empty water bottle on the table when we first checked in. Obviously there has been zero cleaning….and the wall is very thing, you can hear your next door as well as the howling wind.
