"Not Suitable for Cotswold Way Walkers"

We completed the Cotswold in May and this was our least favorite stay. The location is way off the route. This is a no frills lodging setup with no staff. Our room shower did not work...very low water pressure. The room and bathroom heater were disconnected from the main heat supply and the portable heater could not be used in the bathroom since there was no suitable outlet. If you want to enjoy a great meal, plan on walking considerable distances. The onsite food options were not appealing.

"Fail to see why it’s called ‘boutique’. Is it the different styles of furniture?"

"Never again."

Location relative to the Cotswold and the triple room.

The room was dirty. There was mold on the bathroom window. The tiles on the floor of the bathroom were broken. The window shades did not work well. On a 32 degree day the room was too hot to sleep and a single small fan did not do much. The furniture in the room was arranged in strange ways. I did not see or hear any other guest.

"Schönes Hotel, freundliches Personal."

Die Lage war nah am Wanderweg. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Schönes und sauberes Zimmer.

Das Abendessen war zu teuer für das was man bekommen hat. Sehr kleine Portion. Das Hotel liegt am Ortseingang an einer Schnellstraße. Da es keine Klima gab mussten wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen und es war entsprechend laut.
