St Peter's Shared House

The room had bed bugs so chose to end my stay early. Informed staff, said they would look into in to it. No apology, no refund, nothing.

There are definitely some great things about this place. The owner is incredibly responsive and friendly, which made a big difference throughout my stay. The convenience of having grocery stores nearby was a bonus, and having a microwave and fridge in my room was life-changing, making daily life much easier. If you’re on a budget, this place can be a good option.

There are some significant downsides. Shortly after arriving, I noticed a strong smell of food in my room. At first, I thought it was coming from the carpet, but after a few days, I realized it was actually from the tenants downstairs. Every time someone cooked, the smell would fill my room, making it hard to escape the constant food odors. To make things worse, I later discovered bed bugs in my bed. It was a horrifying experience, and I developed rashes that I eventually realized were caused by the bites. Although I tried to deal with it by purchasing bed bug powder, it was still a tough situation to manage. While the owner’s friendliness and responsiveness were definite positives, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants a place near the city center, especially those without a car. The affordability might be appealing, but the issues with bed bugs and food odors made the stay challenging. Proceed with caution if you decide to stay here.

we really enjoyed our stay here, very nice and cost flat in a great location

during the weekend it was a bit loud because of the music from pubs and bars that were around

Everything I could possibly have needed for my stay..And a big comfortable bed, which is a massive thing for me.

The grass not being cut put me off sitting in the garden.

Good value, it's a bed in a small room with good security. Kitchen and laundry machine, backyard clothesline.

Cleanliness depends on the housemates. Bit out of the way location wise. Kitchen could use more silverware
