St Peter's Shared House

Clean place, beautiful garden, and the person in charge was always a phone call away.

The location and free on-street parking was good for me, as I was not really going into Birmingham city centre (though if I had wanted to, it wouldn't have taken very long on the train or bus). However, instead I was driving from just outside the city, so it was extra-ideal. I also liked the option of no-contact check-in, as I arrived quite late and didn't feel guilty about disturbing anyone. The room was clean and comfortable (if a little hot - but a fan had been provided, and it was one of the hottest days of the year so far). The shared bathroom and kitchen facilities seemed clean and well-maintained and the shower worked well. I used the fridge in my room slightly, too.

we thouhght the property was very over priced for just a room with no facilities inside the room. yes it provided a kettle but no water in the room or any coffee making stuff as stated.

Excellent communication from host

Basic facilities, bed was comfortable but lamp had been unplugged and this was behind the bed so I couldn’t turn on as bed to heavy to move. There was a fridge in room but not working. Kettle, tv and microwave and also a fan that was very welcome in the heatwave! Would have been useful to have a mirror in the room. Also would have been useful to have cups in the room but you could go and get from the kitchen downstairs. I felt I needed to keep my bedroom door locked all the time, bit awkward when just wanted to pop to the bathroom or downstairs kitchen. Host was very helpful and quick to reply to calls and messages. Not a great area of Birmingham, I wouldn’t want to walk those roads in the dark on my own. But convenient for bus stops.

The room was small but adequate.The location was convenient for travel into and out of the city centre.

I would have preferred a private bathroom,however I was aware that it was shared when I booked.

Clean tidy place. Good size garden at the back. good facilities.
