Breakfast was fabulous-fresh fruits and healthy options. Staff could not have been more helpful. The quality of the food was very good-our only slightly critical observation was that notwithstanding a wide-ranging menu for snacks between 12 and 5pm, the dinner option each night was limited to a 3-course meal, where choice was limited to meat, fish or vegetable as the main course. We did not always want or need a 3-course meal so the hotel is missing opportunities there perhaps.

We actually really liked the rooftop sitting area which could have been improved by a little music and maybe staffing the bar there.

Die Lage war toll und die Einrichtung des Hotels war sehr modern. Der Service war sehr gut.

Das Frühstück wird einem an den Tisch gebracht. Leider alles auf einmal. Wir hätten uns das lieber selbst geholt. Man bekommt einfach ungefragt alles auf den Tisch gestellt. Kleine Törtchen, Marmelade, Honig,, Früchte, Joghurt. Da steht dann alles in der prallen Sonne auf dem Tisch. Das Zimmer war trotz Licht sehr dunkel.

"Colegio Charm House."

This is a wonderful hotel! Our room was exquisitely decorated and we loved it. Cristina and her staff are outstanding! Nothing is too much trouble and they are on hand at all times. The food is amazing and served so fluently and efficiently. The breakfast selection is excellent and it was such a treat to be served such delicious fare on the lovely terrace. Dinner was also exceptional. The roof terrace is charming and has far ranging views.

"Wunderbar renoviertes Design-Hotel im Zentrum Taviras mit tollem Personal"

Außergewöhnliches Design der öffentlichen Räume wie auch unseres Zimmers (im afrikanischen Stil, sehr geschmackvoll zusammengestellt). Das liebevolle Personal umsorgt beim leckeren Frühstück und Dinner vorbildlich. Alles ist schmackhaft und frisch zubereitet. Es gibt keine Wartezeiten. Das Hotel ist großzügig, klein, aber fein. Bei unserem nächsten Tavira-Besuch werden wir unbedingt wieder dort übernachten.

Ein mit Sorgfalt und Respekt renoviertes historisches Hotel hat auch zum Teil hohe Treppenstufen. Ältere Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität sind dadurch herausgefordert. In nahe der Straße gelegenen Zimmern kann nächtlicher Verkehrslärm störend wirken.

"Perfect stay in a lively Portuguese town!"

Colégio had a very nice welcoming feel to it with superb rooms, incredible staff and set in a great location for easy access in and out of Tavira.

Breakfast was slightly late 8.30am.
