The charm of the property was exceptional, the food was great, and even the concept of the breakfast is great… you get to eat everything without throwing anything away.

Breakfast was superb. Ideally located for Tavira town, the ferry & all sights & facilities. Also good to have transport links virtually on the doorstep. The staff were all brilliant: friendly and efficient.

We had really good weather & sometimes felt a little awkward that the sunbeds were close to rooms on the swimming pool level. We were a bit short of wardrobe space in room 15. We stayed for a week so maybe we just packed too much!

We stayed at Colegio Charm House for four nights and had an absolutely lovely experience. The building has been beautifully renovated, preserving the integrity and history of the original structure in a tasteful and elegant way. Every detail of the space is thoughtfully designed, with a clear sense of creativity and exceptional taste—kudos to the designer. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. They were warm, friendly, and down-to-earth, with none of the pretentiousness you sometimes find in boutique stays. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and looked after. The beds were extremely comfortable—and the sheets! The bedding was unbelievably luxurious and perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Our room was quiet, spotless, and very well maintained. I especially loved the all-day breakfast concept. It meant we could sleep in without feeling rushed, which made the experience even more relaxing. The breakfast and light daytime menu were delicious. While we didn’t dine there in the evening—since we wanted to explore restaurants around Tavira—we heard rave reviews from other guests. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Tavira.

A great location - very central. Beautifully restored building with very attentive staff. Breakfast was fabulous. Enjoyed the pool area and whole place had a chilled vibe. Decor in all the shared areas was very tasteful. Dinner was really good with a four course Portuguese menu.

The room we had next to the pool was too dark and strangely decorated in comparison to the rest of the hotel. It felt a bit bunker like with no natural light and poor lighting within the room. I felt the decor did not reflect the ambience of the rest of the hotel that we saw.

Fabulous breakfast wonderful friendly staff and a great location. Enjoyed the heated. Very comfortable room. Daily cake and shortbread hearts with turndown a lovely touch.
