"A RELAXING AND SPECIAL HOTEL"

THE ALL DAY BREAKFAST WAS WONDERFUL. WE LOVED THE GIN EXPERIENCE ON WOMEN'S DAY. THE STAFF WERE UNFAILINGLY WELCOMING AND HELPFUL. THE DECOR OF OUR ROOM AND THE HOTEL WAS QUIRKY AND CHARMING. SPECIAL THANKS TO CLARA AND CAESAR BUT ALL THE STAFF WERE LOVELY.

THE DOUBLE ROOM WE HAD BOOKED WAS VERY SMALL ESPECIALLY AS WE HAD A LOT OF LUGGAGE AFTER TRAVELLING FOR OVER 6 WEEKS. WE UPGRADED TO A SUITE WHICH HAD A SEPARATE LIVING AREA AND 2 BATHROOMS WHICH WAS FANTASTIC AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. THE HOTEL OVERLOOKS THE BUS STATION BUT THE ROOM DOUBLE GLAZING KEPT OUT ANY NOISE

"Loved the hotel, the room not so much."

The location was great, 2 minute walk into the centro where bars, restaurants, shops and castle ruins are located. The staff are lovely and accommodating, the amenities such as the pool, rooftop area, the daily homemade cake in the reception area is delightful. The building itself is very charming. Breakfast is a highlight.

I’m sorry to say we did not like our room at all. In fact we found it quite hazardous. We had a suite.It was a loft situation. The stairs leading up were actually quite creative, it was a bookcase, but the bookcase was also the stairs and they were steep. Going up and down with an inadequate handrail was very risky and dangerous in our opinion. Our age should have been taken into account when we were assigned that room. The main area of the room was very small and tight, not comfortable at all. With that being said, the decor was quite charming and I think they did the best they could with the space, but the room space and loft area are lacking.

"Lovely hotel, setting, staff but skip dinner"

Lovely hotel, great friendly staff. Good location near to the city centre (5minute walk). Breakfast was very nice as well. Rooms were very nicely decorated and pool area also nice (quite small but not tiny pool)

The dinner we had was fine but not great, the prices at the bar were high (to be expected, but the town is only 5 minutes away, with better food and drink)
