Monterrey Motel Padre Island, Corpus Christi BY OYO

I really like the location, it was away from the congestion that occurs on the main highway towards port A. The room was just enough for a nights sleep considering it's all I needed it for.

The mold around the bathtub is common in almost every place I stay at for the price point. The locks for the entrance of my room seemed flimsy and the parking is limited. You can also hear all the noise outside your room, maybe cause the walls are thin, not too sure.

I like this place a lot! If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is clean and has a very nice shower and very nice beds very close to the beach this is the place to go! It’s not painted well and looks low quality but for the price range I think it is fantastic. I have stayed here twice and will come back. The staff is very very nice!

Simplicity At Its Best!

Very nice staff and very nice inside

Room was filthy on all walls including holes, nasty substances, and extremely dirty directly by the door. Shower was absolutely disgusting with stains and mold all the way around the tub. Smoke detector didnt have batteries in it and was open.

Nice staff. Price for a week day was okay but we couldn’t make it. For the Friday charge we could have stay somewhere much nicer. Air conditioning worked great!

Like a very old Motel 6 before they upped their game.

If you’re looking for an affordable place to sleep and have a hot shower near the Padre Island National Seashore this is a great place. It’s not fancy but the air conditioning was ice cold and the rooms are clean and equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. There are several food options around and it’s minutes from the entrance to the national seashore. The owners were friendly also.
