Staybook Atlanta New Delhi Train Station

I was disappointed with my recent stay at the hotel, as the reality did not meet the expectations set by the online pictures. The entrance to the hotel is located in a dimly lit alley that felt unsafe, and we were met by several stray dogs upon arrival. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks an elevator, which may be inconvenient for some guests. The overall appearance of the place seemed unclean and in need of repairs, with visible signs of wear and tear throughout the property. Our room was not up to standard, with stained and torn bed linens, a ripped couch, and a bathroom that needed a deep cleaning. We also experienced issues with the amenities, such as a lack of hot water and an air conditioner without a remote. Due to concerns about safety, we felt compelled to secure our room door with a coffee table. Overall, I would advise potential guests to consider these issues when booking, as our experience was far from satisfactory.

I booked the family suite but when we arrived we were told that family room is not available. Though he gave us two rooms which have non standard quality of mattress. Have to agree as we were tired and didn’t have any energy to hunt for another hotel. Also have to ask for soap, towels and other basic hotel accessories. Next time please give us the room we booked.

Expedia has this hotel mixed-up with another hotel (Jyonti Mahal) around 1 km away. This means that you might book one but actually have a reservation at the other. In our case we booked Jyonti twice, enjoyed a nice stay but when we returned the second time, they didn't have our reservation. After two hours on the phone with Expedia, we worked out that our booking was at the Atlanta. Expedia really dropped the ball on this one and did very little to help us out.

That saying “you get what you pay for” is the perfect way to describe this hotel. I was very disappointed from the second I checked into my room. Felt more like a box, no windows, the room smelt terribly, the bathroom still had hair on the walls. There was no hair dryer and when one was provided i was told I needed to wait cause someone else was using it? How don’t they have enough for the entire property. When it was given to me, it was more like a toy than an actual hair dryer. There was no power to it. The AC unit, you cannot turn ON yourself you need to have the staff do it for you from downstairs. The phone in my room did not work either, so every issue I constantly had to go downstairs and speak to someone. From the the first night to my last I was constantly having people trying to come into my room and when I addressed the issue I was told from the staff that “the kids are only 14 years old” un acceptable and when I asked to change rooms I was told no. I was told by a few locals that the area of the hotel is not safe and why i booked here as a “tourist”. By the end of my stay I was so disturbed and inconvenienced that I decided to leave and book for another hotel! So, save your time and money and book elsewhere. I do not recommend this hotel.

The property was good and manager was also good.

Hotel was quite impressive built in rajasthani styles, ambience was very nice and food was ok. But service slightly need to improve

Interesting old building but a bit tired. Great location for exploring some of the real Delhi. Take a evening walk in the local markets for some real bargins,

The bathroom was very clean and comfortable. the buffet breakfast at the rooftop was also very good and the staff was helpful as well as co operative.

Nice hotel

They picked us from the airport on time and the driver was very polite towards us. The check in process was completely smoothly. The stay was pleasent, rooms were neat and clean and service was top notch
