Stylish 1BD Seaside Flat North Berwick

Bright clean flat. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom . Comfortable bed. Excellent location. Nice touches -host provided coffee tea and sugar. Helpful information provided in folder.

Just a thought- a microwave oven could be useful for guests.

The location was very convenient for the train station, main high street and beach. The decor of the flat was nice. Basic cooking equipment and crockery was provided. There was some milk sachets, tea and coffee. Table was laid when we arrived. Towels were arranged thoughtfully on the bed. Handy booklet provided giving details of local restaurants, and how to use the bins when we left.

I found initial contact via message requesting deposit and telling me all the things not to do very negative and unwelcoming. Generally it was clean, but needed a deep clean in many areas such as shelf dusting, shower seal, down side of sink. Was disappointed with the bed. It's not a double, but two singles pushed together, so you'll be sleeping on a big ridge. Walls are not soundproof, so we were kept awake by next door's party on final night.

The location was excellent.The bed was very comfortable.

Great location

Location is great, and the bed very comfortable. Towels were soft and comfortable, too. We used the kitchen, and appreciated having the basics. Perfect for 2 people for the weekend. Recycling was simple and thorough, thank you.

I could not find a fire extinguisher (I did find the fire blanket in the kitchen), and the only way out was the one staircase. It would be good to have an emergency window ladder under the bed. I'd add a bottle opener to the kitchen.
