Comfortable beds and nice views over fields. Accommodation was clean. Fire a welcome source of warmth on a wet foggy evening

Very basic level of accommodation and unappealing discoloured shower in a paint flaking cubicle. Fridge needs defrosting so you can use it and unappealing bag under the sink collecting water from a leak!

The Hut and the setting

Nothing to dislike

It was picture postcard beautiful and in an unexpectedly bucolic locale. The aspect was of lush, green paddocks and contented sheep. So quiet and private, with the quaintest of accommodations- perfect for a solo traveller. Extremely well equipped in such a compact, though well thought out, space.

If more substantial pillows are preferred, my advice would be to take your own. But obviously that’s simply personal preference and in no way meant as a criticism.

Everything was just perfect for me and my daughter. The hut was clean and we had everything we needed! The views and surroundings are incredible and the owners communication was great.

The bathroom

A stunning view, in a quiet remote area. The hut was well kitted out, with the bed raised to see the view.

There needs to be a latch, or hook on the to help prop it open.

We really enjoyed the location and the view of the property. It was a lovely escape and could get back into nature. The hut was nice and clean, and very tidy. It was amazing to take our dog as we struggle to find an affordable, lush place that we can take him as well. We would definitely go back! :)

There was not really anything I would say we didn't like. Perhaps just to have spare toilet roll as we only had one.

The view was lovely. The concept is a good idea, but needs to be executed properly. The sheep were good company.

The shower was filthy and full of flies. Also flies in the living area....as in about 25 on the bed! The drains were gurgling all night. The door didn't lock. And a yurt 20 yards away, which was not mentioned in description. No sign to property, which was hard yo find down a lane full of potholes.
