Super location n spacious property. Water in shower not hot, just tepid. A window cleaner wouldn’t go amiss! I would have concerns about the front door step at entrance it would not meet health n safety regs! We assembled a little guard to prevent an accident happening! Think insurance could be in question if left like it is presently. Please check it out.

Great location, comfortable sofa, good shower and kitchen thoughtfully done - Would stay again.

Just a few minor things that could be easily fixed and make a big difference. Biggest is no blind on velux window in top bedroom so woken up with daylight. Mop didn’t have a head, bin lid in kitchen didn’t work and no bin-liners all easy fixes.

Great location and fully equipped apartment. We came for a weekend, but could easily have stayed for a week! Lots to do in the vicinity. Great to have parking right outside, though the instructions about the bollard are obsolete as only the downstairs neighbour's bollard is still there. The building itself, Portland and all of the surrounding area have interesting history. Cozy is an apt description as many homely touches e.g. old toys for young kids upstairs and some useful kitchen bits and bobs. Didn't notice much noise from the pub despite being sunny and Saturday night and busy, nice to have so close.

No dishwasher, so you're at the mercy of the previous guests when it comes to how clean the dishes are. One of the upstairs rooms was great for kids, but not great otherwise as very low ceiling, no windows etc. Sunsets amazing, but just have to nip outside and across the sea wall, so it's beachside, but not quite - can see from the top bedroom looking over the top. Sofa still stained as mentioned in other reviews. Not for those who want a hotel/ultra-modern as could do with a bit of updating. We may have just been lucky re: the noise from the pub!

Tolle Lage, sehr nette Vermieter. Probleme wurden rasch behoben. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön ausgestattet.

Very good base for a visit to the area; adjacent to beach and close to pub and harbour where we had a wonderful boat trip. Decor reflective of the location. Well equipped and comfortable. Parking is conveniently just outside property.

Lighting and decoration could be improved: it's a bit lacking in atmosphere.

What a brilliant location! Lovely island, wonderful property to stay at. So much to see, the D-Day centre, walks, boat trips, the lighthouse, forts, castles and a good sea swimming beach within a minutes walk. Would definitely go back.

The property was not fit for purpose and very dirty. Old, unmaintained and poor equipment. Refund was immediately requested and we booked elsewhere.

The House is perfect vibes for the town. What I loved the most was the mattresses. The most comfortable mattress I've slept in. The staircase up is quite steep so that's something one must consider. The house is beautifully lit with natural light from 3 sides. There was also a Foosball available to enjoy and some toys and story books for young travellers to enjoy. A little bit for everyone.
