Luxury Scandi Inspired 1 Bed Apartment

Good location, Freezer in kitchen was a bonus (you should add it in description). Warm & quiet place with comfy bed& sofa. Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon etc

No WiFi to use, only WiFi for TV, set on different network code. However, we had data for phones & could watch streaming & catch up, so we were fine

The only suggestion I could come up with was to regret the lack of a tea towel for the washing up. A pleasant experience all round

The location of the property was very convenient, the size of the property was great for two of us, any contact with Ollie was fantastic - great engagement and very prompt to reply and to address issues. In the evening the living room was a nice and cozy space to settle down into. What I say below in the 'didn't like' section doesn't change the fact that my wife and I generally felt comfortable in the property and would likely consider staying in the property again. We felt very relaxed in the property.

The communal areas aren't great. This maybe something the property owner has no control over, but even if it wasn't my responsibility, from a presentation perspective I would be tempted to at least run a vacuum cleaner up the stairs. There were some areas in the property which could do with addressing, one was the staining along the side of the shower, another was dents in walls and staining on walls, it could do with being painted at least and this would instantly make it look much better. One of the bedroom windows was hanging open (the window stating 'do not open' and because of the sign we didn't touch it. Fortunately it is warm weather, so from a temperature perspective this wasn't an issue, but from a noise perspective, the gull at 6am were very noisy, this would likely have been significantly reduced if that window was closed. Unless I knew this was fixed, I wouldn't book to stay in colder weather. Another issue was things just seeming a bit grimy, the towel in the bathroom seemed stained and looked unpleasant, two of the cushions on the sofa seemed old and unpleasant and the sofa itself seemed very used - leading my wife to buy a cheap throw from Primark to cover the sofa, and removing those two cushions. Most of these issues are just cosmetic, easily fixed with a bit of paint and some new towels and cushions and either sofa covers/or washed covers if that gives them a new lease of life, or a new sofa.

Nice flat, central location and kitchen has all the basics you need. Bed was comfortable.

Window in the bedroom was broken, on top of the noise insulation which isn’t great but luckily it wasn’t too loud outside except for the seagulls. Host was usually responsive, could have been more responsive in one instance.

We had a self contained flat ,the flat was clean ,not fussy,had what you needed,and nice to find a few items Of larder food in the cupboards often there’s nothing .there was nothing not too like .
